DEMPSEY TECHNICIAN TRAINING & CONSULTING

A training plan built for the way your shop works.

I come into your shop, learn where your team needs support, and build a customized plan that connects technician development with the repair challenges you face every day.

From organizing existing resources to coordinating outside training, I help you put the plan into practice.

1. Shop assessment & a customized plan

I start by working with management to understand your technicians, equipment, existing training, and priorities. We look at skill gaps, diagnostic struggles, recurring repairs, and comebacks to decide where training can make the biggest difference.

What we build: a prioritized training roadmap outlining who needs what training, recommended next steps, and a schedule that works around shop operations.

2. A training portal made for your shop

I build a customized place for technicians to access their assigned learning, manufacturer resources, and independent ASE study support. The structure reflects your shop’s equipment, roles, and training priorities.

What we organize: learning paths, training links, study resources, skills assessments, and progress tracking so management can see what is complete and where follow-up is needed.

3. Manufacturer & vendor training coordination

I help identify the companies and training providers most relevant to your equipment and skill gaps. I contact providers about available courses or on-site sessions, then help coordinate scheduling, attendance, and preparation with your management team.

What you gain: an organized training calendar and a clear process for getting the right learning opportunities in front of your technicians. Provider availability and fees are confirmed separately.

4. Focused diagnostic improvement campaigns

We review the diagnostic issues, repeat repairs, and comeback patterns your shop tracks, then choose a specific area to work on. I help turn that priority into targeted learning, practical inspection guidance, and a follow-up plan.

For example: recurring cooling-system leaks could lead to a focused inspection checklist, relevant manufacturer training, and a review of repair patterns after the campaign.

The goal is to strengthen diagnostic habits and help your team apply what they learn.

5. Follow-through & ongoing support

We review training participation, technician progress, and the repair trends your shop records, then adjust the plan as priorities change. The level of ongoing support is agreed upon around your operation.

Each engagement is scoped individually. Manufacturer training remains with the relevant provider. ASE study support is independent and does not guarantee an exam result.
